Browsing files

Use the File Browser for files and scripts access which you use often. Files and scripts are accessed from IDE workspace.

If you use the File Browser at the first time it has no records. Press the Location button or select File Browser menu to add locations. The following screen:

You can select the next options for every location:

  • Path – the local or network path where the files and directories are located. The File Browser displays files and directories from this point.
  • Include subdirectories – subdirectories from the path displayed in the File Browser tree and can be selected when it enable.
  • Include file filter – one or several file filter expressions to include in the File Browser tree. Separate multiple filter expressions with a semi-colon (e.g. *.sql; *.cmd). If this property is chosen, all files will be included.
  • Exclude file filter – one or several file filter expressions to exclude from the File Browser tree. Separate multiple filter expressions with a semi-colon (e.g. *.tmp; *.dat). If this option is chosen, no files will be excluded.This option will exclude files.info and *.~* (backup files) as a default.
  • Description – the location description that is displayed in the File Browser tree.
  • Icon – the location icon in the File Browser tree.

You can create, delete and sort the locations using the appropriate buttons.
